Griefcounseling

Coping with grief – ways to overcome grief over the loss of a pet
When a beloved pet dies, it is not only everyday life that falls apart – it often feels as if a piece of one's own heart is missing. Animals accompany us quietly and loyally, often for many years. They sense our moods, are unconditionally there for us, and give us closeness without needing words. When this bond is broken, a void remains that is difficult to fill.
For children, the death of a beloved pet often means their first conscious confrontation with farewell and finitude. In this sensitive phase, carefully chosen words and, above all, rituals help: a last walk together, a picture drawn, a small memory book. Such gestures provide support – and make grief more comprehensible.
Rituals are also valuable for adults. A personal farewell letter, a memorial space or mementos such as ash jewellery, a paw print or a photo album can help to make the invisible visible. In the digital age, memorial pages such as ROSENGARTEN Stars also offer a protected space where memories can be shared, preserved and revisited at any time – alone or together with others.

Memorial quotes – When a beloved pet has passed away
When a beloved pet dies, words are often lacking at first. What remains is a quiet pain – and the need to hold on to the love, the memories, the experiences shared. In such moments, empathetic words of condolence can help: they provide a framework for grief, give expression to feelings and remind us that the connection remains – even when our companion is no longer there.

Farewell – The significance of the death of a beloved animal
When a beloved pet dies, it not only leaves a void in everyday life – it changes the entire emotional balance. For many pet owners, their animal was a loyal companion, a silent friend, a member of the family. It was there – day after day, year after year. Saying goodbye means not only loss, but also a break in the feeling of home and security.

The Rainbow Bridge
A bridge connects heaven and earth. Because of its many colours, it is called the Rainbow Bridge. On this side of the bridge lies a land of meadows, hills and lush green grass. When a beloved animal on earth has fallen asleep forever, it goes to this beautiful place. There is always food and drink there, and it is warm and beautiful spring weather. The old and sick animals are young and healthy again. They play together all day long.
There is only one thing they miss. They are not with the people who loved them so much on Earth. So they run and play together every day, until one day one of them suddenly stops and looks up. Their nose quivers, their ears prick up, and their eyes grow wide! Suddenly, they run out of the group and fly across the green grass. Their feet carry them faster and faster. They have seen YOU. And when you and your special friend meet, you take them in your arms and hold them tight.
Your face is kissed, again and again, and you finally look back into the eyes of your beloved animal, who had been gone from your life for so long, but never from your heart.
Then you will cross the rainbow bridge together, and you will never be separated again...
