Sparky... You came to us so small and lost, nobody wanted you. And even ‘bout your breed was set - they surely had no clue. But funnywise all their mistakes made perfect you for us. They even named you just alike your daddys name already was. We took you up high in the air to fly around the globe. And then we fought to get you back from customs docs idiot. You got your shot at “rabbits hill”, now you were marked for good to be part of our family no matter what it took. You made us laugh and teased us often, you surely went YOUR way, but never angry, never mean, you only barked to play. You loved the flowers, beach and snow - you even watched the stars - and entering new areas, and riding our cars. The darkness came as big surprise before you turned 9 years but gladly diabetic was just diagnosed with tears. You lost your eyesight for a while and used your nose not well until we entered Mainau with a garden full of smell. You learnt to follow our words, to step up, down, around… unless we didn’t pay enough attention to the ground… ^^ And even when you didn’t see, still winked us with your eyes, kept making fun and jokes and laugh with us in any wise. You lost your tears and lost your teeth, but never lost your smile. And now we’re lost so totally forever, for a while. You crossed the bridge in rain and sun, and all content and fine.
